CLACTON Golf Club’s men competed for the Centenary Salver.
In wet conditions, the winner was Liam Inwood, with a first-class round of 81-15-66.
In second was the ever-improving Paul Otte, with 90-22-68, on countback from third-placed Josh Bethell, with 77-9-68.
In fourth was Simon Smith, with 79-10-69, on countback from fifth-placed Richard Bridger, with 80-11-69.
Meanwhile, Clacton’s seniors section played their 19th Catering Anniversay Cup, presented to the club by Graham Rackham.
The winner was Doug Nichols, with a stableford score of 40 points.
In second was Trevor Bright, with 38, on countback from third-placed Nigel Martin.
