PLAYED 22, won 22.
That’s Windsor Buzzards’ record this season in winning the Clacton and District League division three title.
They finished their programme with a potentially-awkward fixture against Brotherhood G.
And although Graham Parkes stayed unbeaten for Brotherhood, the Buzzards emerged 6-4 winners.
Ray Chillingworth and Pete Bloomfield each won two for the Windsor side – and Bloomfield came close to making it three, going down 12-10 in the decider to Parkes.
So the Buzzards finish 17 points ahead of second-placed Nomads Lynx who, to emphasise the gap between the top two teams and the rest, were 44 points ahead of third-placed Nomads Leopards.
