HOLLAND FC boss Rob Batten wants his players to finish the season with a flourish – and bounce back from the disappointment of Saturday’s Border League Knockout Cup defeat at home to Little Oakley.
The Eastcliff side suffered a heart-breaking semi-final exit, despite taking a fifth-minute lead through Blake Panrucker.
However, it was not to be for them and after quickly being pegged back, they conceded a winning goal in the latter stages.
“It was very disappointing but while it hurts and is still very raw at the moment, we’re still having a great season,” said Batten.
“We’ve now got five big games left to get some momentum going again.
“It’s just a shame we’ve got two weeks to stew on what might have been.”
