SILVER Dawn Carpet Bowls Club held their annual Freda Chaplin and Frank Bleaze carpet bowls day, at Great Bentley Village Hall.
The event was a fund-raiser for the breast cancer charity and a cheque for £1,000 was handed over to nurse Maurven Angus.
The Silver Dawn secretary would like to thank all members who gave their time to help and a special thanks to Chris Umney for making the day such a success.
Twenty teams of four players took part and the eventual winners were Great Tey, who took the trophy after beating Wix.
