FC CLACTON boss David Coyle has admitted his side are “nowhere near” the level they need to be at.

The Seasiders slumped to another defeat after conceding a last-gasp goal in Tuesday’s 2-1 League Cup tie at Halstead Town.

Adam Daniels had given them a half-time lead, but the hosts fought back and their equaliser came from ex-player Kalon Harms.

The defeat came hot on the heels of Saturday’s 2-0 Thurlow Nunn League premier division loss at Ipswich Wanderers.

“It wasn’t the result or performance I wanted and it was a deserved win for Halstead,” said Coyle.
