FORMER favourite James Dunkley is returning to FC Clacton.
And he could soon be joined by two former team-mates from the club’s promotion-winning season of 2009/10.
New Seasiders boss David Coyle is busy shaping his squad and says Dunkley, who will play for the club’s reserves on Saturday, could feature in Tuesday’s League Cup tie at Halstead Town.
“Dunks is one of the most natural footballers in our area,” said the Clacton boss, who took charge for the first time in last weekend’s 2-0 defeat at Newmarket.
“He’s proven, experienced, can play in two or three positions and I know that when he’s fit and up to scratch he’ll definitely improve our squad.”
Coyle has also approached two other members of that team about coming back.
He felt it best to keep their identities under wraps but is hopeful both will agree to return, although one is more likely than the other.
