Barratt and Clark celebrate a dramatic cup victory
THERE was a thrilling finish to Clacton Golf Club’s mixed pairs Hulton Cup final.
The match was settled by the last putt, with Angela Barratt and Danny Clark just getting the better of Julia and Peter Hewett.
Meanwhile, Clacton’s junior section played their October Medal and the winner was junior captain Ben Rendell, with a score of 76-3-73.
In second was Wilf Elliott, with 103-28-75, and in third was Max Smith, with 87-8-79.
