FRINTON’S cricketers bounced back to winning ways to stay in the hunt for title honours.
Mark Jones’ side responded to last week’s defeat at Marshall Hatchick Two Counties Championship pace-setters Coggeshall with a huge win against Hadleigh at Ashlyns Road, on Saturday.
It means they are now 11 points behind their top-of-the-table division one rivals, who won by 19 runs at Witham.
“We’ve drawn a line under last week’s game and are ready to move forward,” said skipper Jones.
“And the other pleasing thing is that we’re nearly back to full-strength.
“Ian Morton is still out, with a dislocated shoulder, but otherwise we’ve got all our players available and it promises to be a very exciting end to the season.”
