PROUD FC Clacton boss Glenn Eldridge hailed the progress of his side – as highlighted by their 1-1 draw at Gorleston.
The Seasiders boss was disappointed to only come away a point, despite having a depleted squad and facing a long Tuesday night trek to the Thurlow Nunn League high-fliers.
Clacton fell behind soon after half-time but then dominated the second period and equalised through Tom Holdstock (pictured).
“I was disappointed to only come away with a point and that shows the progress we’ve made,” said Eldridge.
“Not so long ago we’d have fallen behind and then wilted.
“But the lads really showed their character because we dominated the second half."
