FC CLACTON picked up a hard-earned and valuable point at high-flying Gorleston tonight, drawing 1-1.
The hosts took the lead early in the second half, in the Thurlow Nunn League premier division contest at Emerald Park.
But Clacton levelled thanks to Tom Holdstock, on 73 minutes.
The result is a major boost for the Seasiders in their bid to avoid relegation and comes hot on the heels of Saturday’s 1-1 draw against Brantham Athletic.
