Makeshift Seasiders are put to the sword

CLACTON Hockey Club suffered a 5-0 defeat at Wapping, in NE14Hockey East Men’s League division two south.

They were thankful for some last-minute help to get a team together, making this game a contest for the best part of 70 minutes.

However, in the end, the home side’s numbers and good basic hockey skills were too much for the makeshift Seasiders.
