Sheikh crowned player-of-the-year at awards night

CLACTON’S cricketers celebrated their impressive season during an annual awards evening.

All-rounder Imran Sheikh was named first-team player of the year, having played a major part in helping the Seasiders finish fourth in the Gibbs Denley East Anglian Premier League.
