Juniors turn on style to win silverware

CLACTON’S junior golfers won the Sainsbury Cup after beating rivals Frinton.
Having lost last year, they were determined to make local knowledge count on their course at West Road.
Clacton’s team consisted of captain Craig James, Michael Hewett, Steven Moore, Chloe Rose, Jasper Parker, George Evenett, Wilf Elliot, Alfie Barns, Rhys Scotcher and Finn Harkin.
They won by eight and a half matches to one and a half, much to the delight of Clacton junior organiser Sonja Strutt.
