Eldridge appointed as assistant manager

Glenn Eldridge is the new assistant manager at FC Clacton.

He has been appointed by first-team boss Ray Turner, who recently took over in the Rush Green Bowl hot-seat.

Eldridge has enjoyed great success at Clacton in recent years, having worked with the club's reserves and under-18s.

Turner said: "Glenn knows the club inside out and the more I thought about it, the more sense it made."
