Foakes signs a new deal at Essex

FORMER Frinton cricketer Ben Foakes has signed a new contract at Essex.
The all-rounder, recently back from playing for England at the ICC Under-19 World Cup, has been awarded a two-year deal at the Ford County Ground.
“I’ve really enjoyed my first season, especially being able to make my LV= County Championship debut and I’m happy to have signed a two-year contract,” said Foakes, who lives in Kirby-le-Soken.
“I’m hoping to now kick on and continue to make progress in my skills for the club.”
