Title caps a successful season for Frinton cricketers

FRINTON’S cricketers are celebrating more success after being crowned PiriPiri North Essex League champions.
Nick Patel’s side sewed up the premier division title after beating Mistley by six wickets on Sunday.
The triumph came hot on the heels of the club’s first team finishing fourth – the second-highest in Essex – in division one of the Marshall Hatchick Two Counties Championship.
Their second team were promoted as runners-up from division four and they also won the North Essex League’s Twenty20 competition in late August
