Sheikh and France star in latest Clacton success

Clacton's cricketers continued their winning ways in the Gibbs Denley East Anglian Premier League, triumphing by six wickets at Saffron Walden on Saturday.

Imran Sheikh was in stunning form with the ball, taking six for 52 in his 14 overs, and Stefan Gericke chipped in with three for 39 in 11.3.

Saffron Walden were all out for 237 and Clacton stormed past the victory post thanks to an unbeaten 96 from skipper Ben France and 67 from Essex’s Greg Smith.
