Cripps is not returning for the new season

FC Clacton boss Andy Taylor says star defender Matt Cripps will not be re-signing for the Seasiders.
The centre-half, last season’s players’ and supporters’ player-of-the-year, hopes to secure a move to a Ryman League club.
Although he is not thought to have signed for anyone yet, Taylor’s understanding is that he will not be back at the Rush Green Bowl.
“We always knew he was going to move on,” said the Seasiders manager, who will meet up with his players for the start of pre-season training on Saturday.
