FC CLACTON held their senior section awards night at the club on Friday evening.

Awards were handed out to the club's first team, under-18s, veterans and ladies' teams.

Jake Plane was the big winner on the evening, walking away with the home player-of-the-season award, first-team top goalscorer and players’ player awards.

Harvey Cowler was named manager's player, while Kevin Coyle again picked up the Derek Savage Champagne Moment Award, for his 60-yard match-winning goal at home to Long Melford in February.

Coyle was also the winner of the Kerry Birks Away Supporters Trophy, with Kerry’s good friend Les on hand to present the award.

Under-18s award winners: Leading goalscorer – Kain Schoeman; Players' player – Harry Harvey; Manager's player – Andreas Antoniou-Garcia.

Ladies' award winners: Players' player – Lauren Lucas; Manager's player – Sadie Cullen; Top goalscorer – Lauren Lucas; Most improved player – Lexi Pope.

Vets' award winners: Players' player – Lee Pryor; Manager's player – Peter Kirk; Top goalscorer – Sean Hillier.
