HOLLAND FC'S under-15s have been crowned Ipswich and Suffolk Knockout Cup winners.
They triumphed 3-1 against a good Ipswich Valley side.
Holland started strongly and were in control throughout, limiting their opponents to very few chances.
The first goal came after 20 minutes and was a 25-yard free-kick from the impressive Bradie Payne.
Holland's attacking threat was always a problem for Ipswich, who conceded a penalty after a strong run from Matty Birch.
Rueben Cowler coolly slotted home from the spot.
Ipswich pulled one back on the stroke of half-time, after a corner was not properly cleared.
The second half started in much the same way as the first, with Holland controlling the pace of play, and their third goal followed from a good ball in by Ben Dixon.
An Ipswich defender panicked and inadvertently put the ball past his own keeper, under pressure from the impressive Billy Clawson.
Holland's back three of Harry Conway, Jamey Williams and Mitchell Kill were dominant and continuously thwarted Ipswich.
Holland's under-15s will be looking for players for next season, when they will be playing as under-16s.
Plans are in place to have an under-16 side playing on both Saturdays and Sundays, feeding into the midweek under-18s team that have been confirmed a place in next season's Thurlow Nunn Youth League.
