HOLLAND FC suffered heartache after an amazing nine-goal thriller at Whitton United.
The sides met in a First Division Knockout Cup quarter-final on Wednesday night and the coastal side were eventually pipped 5-4 - having at one point been 2-0 down and then 3-2 up.
There was also a brief hold-up for a floodlight failure, to add to the drama.
Joint-boss Jon Willis said: "It was a very eventful night.
"I was happy with how we played but disappointed by the way we conceded goals.
"A few individual mistakes and some poor defending cost us in the end."
Holland switch their attention back to the Thurlow Nunn League first division on Saturday when they head to Debenham LC.
