CANNONS Basketball Club set a new record in their latest Suffolk Senior League fixture.
They recorded a 98-23 victory against Cornard Kings in the division two contest - with their 98 points being a new record for the Clacton side.
Head coach Chris Tight spoke afterwards about his club's bright future and pointed to the fact his 12-man squad for the Cornard game featured eight under-18 players, six of whom were under-16.
