ALAN Dunt hosted the final event of his year as seniors' captain at Frinton Golf Club - the Seniors' Shield and AGM.
It took place in near perfect conditions.
With a good field of entrants, it was no surprise to see a wide spread of scores, although nobody had anticipated Chris Strelley's high score of 43 points.
He finished three ahead of second-placed Mike Redden, with 40 points, while in third place was Rob Morgan, with 39.
The presentation of the Shield was performed by Frinton president Malcolm Withycombe, who had presented the trophy to the club's seniors' section 27 years ago.
