The ladies played an Arizna Shuffle on Tuesday.

This is where one score counts on par threes, two scores on par fours and all three scores on par fives.

It was a really fun competition and Caroline Gard, Loraine Motion and Ginny Richardson won with an aggregate score of 79.

Second place went to lady captain Marilyn Clarke, Angela Vaughan and Maria Naden, with 77.

The ladies’ Appleby Meyer Foursomes summer knockout came to a close, with Richardson and Barbara Thorpe collecting the trophy.

And in their final away match of the season, Frinton's seniors played at Fynn Valley.

Although the tight course and abundance of trees might appear to favour the home side, Frinton emerged with a very respectable draw at four games each.

The team from Gosfield arrived in good spirits, hoping for success at Frinton. However, a resolute team performance from the hosts enabled them to achieve a five games to three victory.
