HOLLAND Shore Boxing Club's William Dragisic ground out a tough points decision when competing in the Eastern Counties semi-finals.
Up against New Saints' rugged Gareth Macey, he needed to be at his best as both boys got involved from the first bell.
Dragisic began walking onto the New Saints boy with heavy combinations but Macey wouldn't be denied and finished the round gamely.
The second followed in a similar manner as the first, with both lads unloading with heavy combinations.
However, Dragisic was now beginning to bully the heavy-handed Macey around the ring and he won a good second round.
In the third, the action swayed early on but the Holland Shore boxer was now dominating a tough contest with classy combinations to both head and body, as Macey's workrate began to tire.
Dragisic now moves on to next week's Eastern Counties finals, where he will be up against New Astley's Dean Allum.
