LINKS Karate trio Charlotte Hope, Ethan Day and Mitchell Thorpe have been selected by the English Karate Federation to attend the World Karate Federation Junior, Cadet and Under-21 World Championships.
The three young athletes have had to attend training sessions and selections over the past months and also had to train hard in their classes at Links.
They will continue to do so up to the championships under the watchful eye of Links Karate head coach Paul Harris.
This is essential to be able to compete at this prestigious event alongside other world-class athletes.
Hope will compete in the female 16-17 years junior -59kg category, Day in the male 14-15 years cadet -53kg class and Thorpe in the male 21 years -75kg contest.
The championships take place in Santa Cruz de Tenerife from October 25 to 29.
