SUZANNE Warren broke her own British record when competing at her first international meet of 2017.
The Holland-on-Sea swimmer was in action at the British Para-Swimming International meet - one of the largest open para swimming competitions, attracting swimmers from all over the world - in Sheffield.
Her main success came in the 50 metres backstroke, where she came first in the GBR final and broke her own British record, clocking 57.90 seconds.
Warren, an S4 swimmer in the lower classifications for those with physical impairments, also competed in the 50m butterfly, swimming great times in both the heat and GBR final which placed her first.
In the 100m freestyle, she recorded a season's best time.
With Paralympic and world champions racing in the lower classifications, it was a great opportunity to put herself up against some of the best swimmers in the world.
Meanwhile, competing at the Easter Meet at her home pool in Norwich, Warren set a season's best in the 50m butterfly and broke her own British records in the 100m backstroke and 50m freestyle.
