BRIGHTLINGSEA REGENT stormed back to win 4-3 in an amazing Ryman League division north thriller at Bowers and Pitsea.
Brad Warner scored two first-half penalties for the hosts, before Aaron Condon replied, also from the spot, for Regent.
David Knight extended Bowers’ lead before Condon and Tom Richardson made it 3-3.
Richardson then grabbed his second to settle a topsy-turvy contest, at the Len Salmon Stadium on Tuesday night.
Callum Leahy had earlier seen red for the hosts.
Regent remain third in the table but now four points behind Thurrock and eight behind leaders Maldon and Tiptree.
They still have three games in hand on the pair above.
