ST Osyth comfortably defeated Felixstowe and Corinthians seconds by ten wickets in their Marshall Hatchick Two Counties Championship division six clash.
Having been asked to bat on a lively wicket, Felixstowe were soon in trouble against the bowling of Scott Fraser and James Handscombe and declined to 14 for five with one wicket going to an excellent diving one-handed catch by James Bean.
Only Mark Smith, with 23, was able to counter the bowling and it took a stand of 28 for the last wicket to get the total to 88 all out.
Fraser finished with five for 35 and Handscombe three for 21.
St Osyth made quick work of reaching their target, with James Handscombe and Nick De’ath knocking off the runs in just 13 overs.
Handscombe played well for an unbeaten 54 while De’ath remained 29 not out.
