BRIGHTLINGSEA Junior School have reflected on a year of great sporting success.
They celebrated their achievements in a special assembly on the last day of term.
They gained a number of first places in Clacton District Primary School Sports Association events.
And their successes came in a number of sports, from football and cricket to netball and dodgeball.
Roll of honour: District Sports - 1st; Netball League - 1st; Girls' Football League - 2nd; Girls' Football Cup final - 1st; Boys' Football League - 2nd; Boys' Football Cup final - 1st; Indoor football tournament (girls) - 1st; Indoor football tournament (boys) - 1st; Six-a-side football tournament (girls) - 3rd; Six-a-side football tournament (boys) - 2nd; Great Bentley football festival: Girls' Year Five and Year Six - 1st; Boys' Year Three and Year Four - 1st; Boys' Year Five and Year Six - 1st.
In other sporting events, Brightlingsea came first at the Colne cluster athletics event, first and second at a kwik cricket tournament, fifth and sixth at a dodgeball tournament, second at the Coastal Storms netball contest and first at a girls' football competition in Elmstead Market.
