CLACTON and District Bowls Club held their presentation night.
Each year the club has a chosen charity and this year’s worthy cause was multiple sclerosis charity MS-UK.
Dave West, president of the bowls club, presented centre manager Michael Kinton with a cheque for just over £607.
The Josephs Court MS-UK Centre of Excellence opened in 2012 and is based at the Hythe, in Colchester.
It offers a range of activities in its purpose-built studio, where every piece of equipment is designed to create strength and muscle tone and improve general fitness.
Above all, Josephs Court is a community hub for anyone affected by MS.
Meanwhile, Clacton played their finals weekend. Trophies for the winners and runners-up were presented, along with the league winners and runners-up for both the summer 2015 season and the winter 2016 season.
