CLACTON came away from fourth-placed Riverside with another 6-6 draw, in the Essex Men’s Superleague.

Curtis Hammond (26.05) and Adrian Genery (23.89, comb 25.02) gave Clacton the lead with victory over Barry Adlam (28.86) and Mick Baglow (10.72, comb 20.49).

Alan Currivan (23.44) and Andrew Currivan (27.27, comb 25.18) lost against Ben Adams (32.61) and Ryan Harrington (24.35, comb 28.60).

Wayne Bloomfield (25.18) and Eddie Keary (24.16, comb 25.02) restored Clacton’s lead as they overcome Rhys Hayden (24.10) and Sam Lepley (22.72, comb 23.46).

Nic Groves (17.79) and Keith Farthing (26.09, combined 21.76) made it 3-1 as they defeated Jamie Palmer (28.71) and Sam Ayres (12.58, comb 20.65).

Hammond (21.42) lost his opening leg against Palmer (20.95) but hit a second maximum 180 in the deciding leg as he clinched a 3-2 victory.

Genery lost 3-1 against PDC player Harrington.

Farthing (29.02) lost 3-1 in the game of the night against Hayden (30.77).

Bloomfield (20.59) got the job done in his game as he ran out a 3-0 winner against Ayres (18.68).

Andrew Currivan (20.95) lost 3-0 against county stalwart Adlam (23.12).

Alan Currivan (21.35) secured at least a draw for Clacton as he won his game 3-1 against Hayden (18.16).

Keary (24.91) looked like he was in control against Baglow (23.77). However, Keary missed his chances and Baglow stepped in to take his on every opportunity as he won 3-2.

Groves (24.11) lost 3-1 in the last game against Lepley (26.65).

Lepley hit a maximum 180 en route to securing a draw for the home side.
