CLACTON 0
EAST LONDON III 2
East Men’s League division three SE
CLACTON suffered another defeat without getting themselves on the scoresheet.
They failed to make the best of their chances, with the visitors taking full advantage of their two short corners in the first half.
John Hambrook was the Seasiders’ man-of-the-match with a solid defensive performance, linking up well with Shane Walker, Elliot Steele and Sam Hodge.
Clacton did not get their flowing hockey going until late in the game, when they created a number of short corners, but were unable to avoid the visiting keeper or get to the rebounds as the game drifted away from them.
Clacton will be hoping to get this year started when they travel to Thurrock on Saturday.
