CLACTON and District Indoor Bowls Club’s men played a County League division one game against Barking.
Overall, they lost by 152 shots to 92.
The away team lost 77-43 and the home team 75-49.
The highest-scoring rink for Clacton’s home team was rink five – George Woodhall, Ken Gaylor, Ted Sargeant and Phil Lewis – who lost by 21 shots to 17.
The highest-scoring away rink for Clacton was rink three, who lost by 23 shots to 18.
That team consisted of John Wilson, Brian Hopkins, Jim Pallett and Peter Halliday.
