CLACTON’S ladies’ triples team of Josie Lawrence, Felicity Bailey and Pat Wernham have made it through to the Tendring Hundred League finals.
They beat a team from Frinton in the semi-finals, 19-13.
The finals will be held at Holland-on-Sea on September 10, where the ladies will play a team from the host club.
In the Premier League, champions Clacton completed their season with a 6-2 win at Brightlingsea.
The Stanford League side also finished off with a 6-2 win at home to Kirby.
In the Windsor League, Clacton A had two home games.
They lost 6-4 to Thorpe and won 8-2 against Kirby.
Clacton B won 7-3 at Happy Valley B.
Their other game, against Happy Valley A, was rained off.
In the ladies’ Tendring Hundred League, Clacton A won 6-0 at home to Parkeston, while Clacton B won 6-0 at Happy Valley.
Clacton hosted King George’s in a friendly this week.
The visitors won by three rinks to two, with one tied, and by a shot score of 113 to 93.
