LITTLE Clacton Tennis Club’s men’s team had an emphatic win against fellow high-fliers Frinton C.
They won by eight sets to one, in the Colchester and District League contest.
Little Clacton also enjoyed a convincing victory against West Mersea B, in a mixed doubles match, winning 9-0.
Mersea only won seven sets out of 81.
The men’s team now have a chance of winning division four, but will have to wait another three weeks for their last match.
The club’s American tournament was won by John Amey and June Ratford.
Amey played excellently and Ratford was consistant from the baseline, as they beat Tony Fulcher and Kim Cade 6-4.
