FC CLACTON boss David Coyle hopes to solve his goalkeeping dilemma in the next few days.
Luke Avenell, who played a starring role late last season, is keen to play again but work commitments could limit his availability.
As such, Coyle has been in contact with former Seasiders man Joe Fowler, who is on the look-out for a new club after leaving Stanway Rovers.
Both shot-stoppers are due to play some part in tonight’s opening pre-season friendly, at Cornard United.
After that, Coyle hopes things will become clearer about who will be his number one next season.
