MEDAL SUCCESS: Links returned with medals and national titles from the English National Championships, at the Ponds Forge International Sports Centre, in Sheffield.
LINKS Karate Kai travelled to Sheffield to compete in this year’s English National Championships.
They had a small but highly-experienced squad in action and returned with national titles.
In total, they won three gold medals, one silver and three bronzes.
The Links squad consisted of Ethan Day, Sam Day, Mitchell Thorpe, Maisie Raymond, Charlotte Hope and Emily Appleby.
Medals: Team Kumite: Senior female: Bronze: Emily Appleby. Individual Kumite: Gold: Mitchell Thorpe, Maisie Raymond and Charlotte Hope. Silver: Emily Appleby. Bronze: Sam Day and Emily Appleby.
