Tendring's year eight team
TENDRING Technology College are celebrating a double sporting success.
The school, which has bases in Thorpe and Frinton, lifted two cups at this week’s North-East Essex Schools football finals, at Colchester United’s Weston Homes Community Stadium.
Their year sevens were narrow 3-2 winners against Philip Morant School, on Tuesday morning.
And that victory was followed by the school’s year eight side beating Colchester Royal Grammar School 4-0.
Miles Sargent netted a hat-trick in the latter match for jubilant Tendring.
