THE Ladies team at Frinton Cricket Club are looking for new recruits and would love to welcome some newbies.
Their first training session of the season is on Friday April 10, from 6pm at the club.
The team has been growing over the last couple of years and are always looking for new ladies to join.
It is an exciting time for the club as both the first and second XI men’s teams have been promoted, the firsts to the East Anglia Premier League and the seconds to the first division of the Two Counties Marshall Hatchick League.
This will be the ladies’ fifth season so it is very much a young team, where each player is at differing levels of ability and cricketing knowledge.
The ladies games are played on a Sunday morning and they have 14 fixtures this year, with the first league game on May 10 and the last on September 6.
