A DOZEN enthusiastic sailors braved chilly conditions for the first race in Walton and Frinton Yacht Club’s Spring Series.
The class one honours went to Martin Jenkins, sailing his Phantom.
John Sewell (Solo) came second, followed by Nick Wood (Phantom), Ed Evans (Laser) and James Oxley (Laser).
The next Spring Series race is on Sunday, April 5 but the Easter Series races start on Saturday, April 4.
