Clacton secure victory in their friendly against Happy Valley
Clacton and District Indoor Bowls Club played a friendly against Happy Valley and won 126-80.
There were four ladies’ teams and two men’s teams.
The tops rinks for Clacton were rinks four (ladies’ triples) and five (men’s fours).
Both won in excess of ten points.
The ladies’ team consisted of Lesley Hinson, Maureen Chidwick and Edna Clifford and the men’s team was made up of Les Whitehead, Paul Dyer, Paul Gillett and Kevin Dartnell.
