Clacton bowlers progress in the county fours competition
CLACTON and District Indoor Bowls Club suffered defeat in their latest County League division one fixture, going down 118-99 against Tye Green.
However, there was better news for the club’s ladies, who made progress in the county fours competition, beating Saffron Walden side Turpins.
Hosts Clacton won 26-13 and their team consisted of Jean Taylor, Tracy Kinton, Sylvia Broadbent and Carole Batchelor.
