FC CLACTON have a home match against Felixstowe & Walton tonight.

The Seasiders’ disappointing start to the season continued with a 2-0 defeat at London Tigers on Saturday, in the FA Cup.

“We knocked the ball around but didn’t really create much,” said boss Glenn Eldridge, ahead of tonight's Thurlow Nunn League premier division contest at the Rush Green Bowl.

“There was no end product.

“We just have to get back to basics and I’m sure we’ll be OK.”

James Gregory and Charlie Thompson have both joined on loan from Tendring neighbours Brightlingsea Regent.

“Both are good lads with plenty of potential but they need to be playing games,” said Regent boss James Webster.

“When they come back, they will have benefited from playing first-team football and be match-fit.”

Gregory and Thompson will be reunited with striker Terry Rymer, who joined the Seasiders last week after a highly-successful time at North Road.
