FORMER FC Clacton midfielder Kevin Coyle has re-signed for Stanway Rovers.
The attacking midfielder had been at Brightlingsea Regent but sealed his move back to The Hawthorns after meeting Rovers boss Angelo Harrop on Monday night.
He has signed a one-year contract with the ambitious Thurlow Nunn League side.
Harrop was delighted to sign Coyle and has immediately set him a target of scoring at least 15 goals.
“Kevin and I have known each other a very long time, since our days at Colchester United,” said the Stanway boss, whose other summer signings include former Clacton player-manager Ray Turner.
“He’s a real attacking threat and, given his ability, I’d be very disappointed if he didn’t weigh in with at least 15 goals.
“He’s proven at this level and he’s a match-winner."
