CLACTON pair Angela Barratt and Di Kedge travelled to Maylands Golf Club to play in the Essex Lady Past Captains’ Spring Meeting.

Each competitor was drawn to play with another lady past captain in a pairs best ball competition.

Kedge was drawn to play with Eileen O’Sullivan, a past captain from Stapleford Abbotts Golf Club, and what a day they had, notching up a superb total of 44 points to win the Iris Stranks Trophy.

Eighty-four lady past captains from across the county took part in the competition.
