CLACTON Cricket Club skipper Scott Facey says promotion is the goal this season.
The Seasiders have made a flying start to the new Marshall Hatchick Two Counties Championship division four season and made it three wins in a row after thrashing Ipswich by nine wickets on Saturday.
They currently sit top of the early table.
“I’m really proud of my team,” said Facey.
“We’re playing well, the team spirit is the best I’ve known and credit to the players, who stayed behind and practiced after the match. Our aim is promotion and that shows how determined and committed they are.”
