ST OSYTH footballer Aidan Austin is in dreamland after signing a professional contract with Nottingham Forest.

The 16-year-old, a protege of Brightlingsea’s Colne Football Academy, has been snapped up by the East Midlands club after he caught their eye while playing for the Nike Academy.

He passed his medical last week and has now penned a two-year contract.

“It’s a dream come true and overwhelming,” said former Clacton schoolboy Austin.
