TENDRING Volleyball Club stalwart Alex Porter is ready to play through the pain barrier.
The club’s chairman and National League player is facing a race against time to be fit for their upcoming play-off final against London Lynx.
Former Great Britain and England player Porter has broken a little finger and could face another five weeks on the sidelines.
That will take him right up to the club’s eagerly-awaited play-off against Lynx which, if they win, will secure Super 8s volleyball.
