TENDRING Volleyball Club’s Nick Davies has praised the mental strength of his title-winning women’s team.
The Frinton-based side wrapped up the National League division two south title after Sunday’s 3-0 success against Guildford.
To make their success even more remarkable, they are still unbeaten and are yet to drop a set in the league since November.
“The girls have been relentless and shown such a brilliant mental attitude,” said proud coach Davies.
“When you’re top of the table, everyone wants to shoot you down.
“Every team has been after us but the girls have been amazing.
“They’ve been mentally strong and that’s such a massive part of volleyball, even more important than physical ability."
